“Everyone dreams of their own perfect wedding – but truly, I never imagined we’d actually have one. We had never traveled to Greece before our wedding (yes, I know, a little crazy) but knew from the photos and everything we’d heard about Greece that it was the destination for us. But in order to pull off a wedding in another country, you need to feel 110% confident and trusting of the team executing and after the first call with The Twelve Events we knew there was no other option for us. Fast forward to our wedding, from the second our feet touched the sand in the small Island of Sifnos with mountains, scattered with white buildings peering down at us, we knew we had made the right decision. The next few days leading up to the wedding were the best days of our lives, met with laughs, boats and ocean swims, the freshest of food imaginable. And on the day of the wedding, we were completely taken back with emotion. Yes, incredible amount of planning goes into a wedding, but nothing could prepare me for when I saw my wife walking down the stairs – I was a wreck. From there, everything just flowed in this weird sort of dream; the setting was out of this world, the food was incredible, the placements were perfectly curated – which for us, was only possible in our dreams. So I thank the Twelve Events – Antigone, Laetitia and Giota for making it all possible and for giving me, and us, a moment in our lives that we will cherish for as long as we’re on this earth.”
