For our Spanish-Greek bride and groom Laura and Nick wedding success, gorgeous details aside, was all about location, location, location. They fell in love with Island Private House as the coastline reminded Laura of her hometown. One of the main reasons they just had to book this venue however was that it could maximize the amount of family members to attend their celebration. Their traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony rituals were explained to the Catholic family of the bride by one of the couple’s guests. As Laura and Nick’s wedding planners we were asked to implement their beautiful classical wedding with white, green and gold. White florals with tons of greenery, camelia blush runners, and white candles with gold candle holders, mirrors, crystal chandeliers and fairy lights hanging from the pergola were used according to the wishes of our bride. We couldn’ t go without a dessert and a cheese station, our bride’s fave snacks. Nick wished us to set up a lounge area with a mirror wall hanging from the greenery. The result was spectacular during the day and even more stunning at night when the light’s went on. What added to the sensation of their event was the flower arch for guests to take pictures under with the beautiful coastline in the background, and a mirror booth everyone loved. Nothing beats a Greek fiesta, so Laura and Nick requested for a traditional Greek band as well as a DJ. They danced all night to traditional Greek music, traditional songs from Spain, and popular international music. A firework show was scheduled for after the cutting of the cake and champagne toasts. It started as Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” played in the background and in Laura’s words felt like a movie scene. That is day maker in our books! Enjoy their celebration through the lens of their photographer Sandy and Odysseas.
