JESSICA & ANDREAS || STUNNING GARDEN INSPIRED WEDDING IN HYDRA SOAKED IN JEWEL-TONED FLORALS

One of our most hearted celebrations this season has to be this stunning garden-inspired wedding in Hydra soaked in jewel-toned florals,  through the all-seeing Lens of Les Anagnou photographers. Garden isn’t probably the first thing that pops to mind when considering Hydra as your wedding destination, as this Saronic Gulf gem of an island with its tiled marble-cobbled lanes and stellar architecture reminiscent of the neoclassical period is pretty much all one can ask for.

Perhaps its pristine and cosmopolitan feel juxtaposed by the wild beauty of its deep teal waters, and crisscrossing donkey routes is what has been drawing silver screen actors like Sophia Loren and bards like Leonard Cohen over the years, but our beautiful couple Jessica and Andreas had so much more in mind when asking us to design their big day!

Gorgeous blooms and twinkling lights transformed the future bride and groom’s chosen space which was actually “love at first sight” into a botanic heaven with all lush details –  dangling chandeliers, one of the largest dessert stations strewn with Pavlov’s Lab too pretty to eat sweet treats, and tons of fleurettes everywhere – their wedding cake was an absolute sight for bloom-loving eyes- came together so organically.

For the bride and groom’s invitation suites we employed a hint of their floral decoration and tonal palette as well as the icon of Hydra island two -cutest- burros, a nod to the island’s nostalgia of simple joys in life. For the merry guests, a map and an itinerary were hand-drawn to evoke something blue – aka the colors of the groom’s trousseau, a silk Hermes scarf, and his tie.

We wished to give our couple a truly unique span of their vision including the freshest local delicacies and charcuterie treats by designing a superb bar for their cocktail hour overflowing with native tastes.

The ceremony was a clear nod to opulence with French neoclassical design King Louis XVI chairs and a matching salon – did you know these furnishings got their name for the French monarch who, like his wife, Marie Antoinette, was known for his indulgent taste? – Adding to the pretty came the venue’s gazebo which we decorated in drapes bursting with an insanely delicious jewel color palette of Jessica’s favorite flowers.

Monet’s own words,” I owe all I have become to flowers” find us completely concurring. Without further ado, view the pretty right this way!
