World-renowned for the brimming archive of unique prints, the Liberty London Fabrics department is a de rigeur stop for flower-pattern lovers. So what happens when a bride and groom combine their love for the Greek islands and Liberty blooms with their big day? Nothing less than an elegant floral topped Sifnos wedding. Cecilia & Yann’s scheme involved customized robes and silk jammies for the bridesmaids, Colonel Moutarde liberty bowties for the gents, ditsy floral dotted cupcakes and cookies at the reception’s dessert station, a floral photo-booth, and the most romantic array of Liberty tonal flower arrangements hanging from the ceiling at the dinner scene. We loved everything about this lovely romantic event at Lazarou beach, where the couple and their bridal party arrived in traditional caiques, waiting to be greeted by their guests and landing right before the cocktail deck. But we’d better let the images by Elias Kordelakos tell the tale!
“Getting married in a Greek island was our dream. But the organization was a big challenge, as we live in Dubai with our families and friends scattered across the globe. It wouldn’t have been possible to put in place without The 12 Events team.
We wanted a simple yet elegant wedding and the team made all of our dreams come true…
We thank all the team and especially Laetitia and Giota and all the vendors for their hard work which made this day unforgettable for us and our guests.”
